Structure of the Earth

The structure of the Earth consists of 5 key parts:

The has a diameter of approximately double that of the Inner Core. The has a diameter of approximately double that of the Outer Core. The is extremely thin, realtive to the other layers of the Earth.

All layers of the Earth are solid with the exception of the Outer Core. That said the mantle is mostly solid, but that it is able to move slowly, in the same way that pitch flows over long periods of time.

The Earth is composed of mainly of:

Draw a pie chart to display the Earth's composition data.

The Earth's core is composed of mainly of iron (88.8%) with smaller amounts of nickel (5.8%).

The Earth's crust is composed of mainly of oxygen (47%), chemically locked up in rocks. The most common of which are Silica, Silicon Dioxide (54%) and Alumina, Aluminum oxide (16%).
