Collisions

The principle of "The Conservation of Momentum" states that:

• When two or more bodies act on each other, their total momentum remains constant, providing there are no external forces acting.

This can be translated into 'the total momentum before a collision equals the total momentum after the collision'. We can use this to find the velocity of objects after a collision.
