The Suspects

Suspect A - Williams T Statement:

It wasn’t me. I can’t believe you could think such a thing of me!

I only go into the science block for registration in the morning and I had to pop back to pick up some exam papers I had left in S1 after picking up some manure from the garden centre down the road, but I was in and out in less than 1 minute.

I don’t go past the front doors of the science block anyway so it really had nothing to do with me.

Suspect B - Cream K Statement:

It wasn’t me. I was in the school early Monday morning when you say you found the body of Larry.

Yes, I know him….knew him. He was a gentle man and although I didn’t know him well, he seemed very kind.

Anyway, I was busy with the Drama GCSE performance set-up and I may have popped out once or twice but not long enough to kill a man, and although I was around Sunday night, the caretakers saw me at the front of the building when I went to the gym.

Suspect C - Metcalfe P Statement:

It wasn’t me. I don’t even know this Larry fellow.

I was sorting out an IT problem in IT2 with the technicians.

I had to go and collect some wires but I was only gone about 5 minutes.

I am a peaceful man who loves animals and would never condone violence of any sort, let alone murder!

It’s all terribly sad but it really had nothing to do with me.

Suspect D - Collins C Statement:

It wasn’t me. Oh, it’s all dreadfully upsetting.

Larry was lovely…I knew him very well as a friend of a friend and we had a similar circle of friends so we met up socially on occasions.

I was in the science block all morning but it must have happened when I popped to the photocopier as I didn’t hear a thing.

I have no idea what he was doing in the school…I didn’t think he knew anyone else here.

My kittens have been a great source of comfort to me since this terrible event.
